So, I want to tell you about a thoughtful 27-year-old woman from Albuquerque who posted a wish asking for financial help for her mother who recently had to quit her job to take care of her 7-year-old brother who has Down Syndrome. The daughter is worried that her mother may lose her car, which she needs to transport her brother to doctor’s appointments, and would like to help her mother with the car payments.. There is an organization that is near and dear to my heart - Wish Upon a Hero. Many of you who follow me know that I support these guys and the great work they do to encourage people to be heroes. Since this is a holiday tour, and since there are a LOT of people all across the country who need some extra help during the holidays, I thought I’d help the folks at Wish Upon a Hero by encouraging fans, audience members, listeners to be someone’s hero, too.

Country star LeAnn Rimes has seen more than her share of ups and downs since she burst onto the music scene in 1996 with the song "Blue." Over the years, she has sued her father (they have since reconciled), had a much publicized extramarital affair that led to divorce, and, most recently, been hospitalized for anxiety and stress. To make matters worse, all of that personal tumult has been chronicled, in painful detail, in the tabloids and on websites like TMZ. But Rimes, 30, has made strides to stabilize her life.
