i love your songs, voice and talent and the fact that i can relate to your songs. i think everyone needs a comforting song once in while. i have a tumultuous relationship with my mum and we quarrel alot. she's what i cannot change but i am what i can. i think your song is a great reminder of what i should do. to forgive and change myself regardless of what my mum does. thanks for the song!

Hi LeAnn! It's Amber from California. (I met you when I was 7 at Disneyland) and again a few times after. And I don't have a sappy story to share with you either, but you're song "What I cannot Change" has helped me realize that, I just have to let go of the things that I cannot change, but that I will change, if need be, however and whenever I possibly can. (no pun in tended) Thank you for writing such a beautiful song! The first time I heard it, I was attending a summer program in Minneapolis, Minnesoda, thousands of miles away from my family and friends, (boyfriend, friends, etc) and I prayed that I wouldn't make mistakes everyday, as I had done before, and I had to just let go of what I couldn't change. I am now a Freshman in College, and I really appreciate you writing this song. It is always the best when it's honest, and a person can feel what your feeling, and relate to you like me and all of you're other fans can. I think the song is incredible, and honestly, I started crying when I first heard it, because, in reality, I cannot change things, or people, and I've learned that just through the words that you write, and the lyrics that you sing.
